In all the welding processes described, melting rate, i.e. quantity of filler material molten in time unit, is increased. Submerged arc welding, gas shielded arc welding and manual metal-arc welding with covered electrode are described. By applying the processes described, process productivity can be raised by 30% or even up to ten-times the value of the original melting rate</dc:description><dc:description xml:lang="sl">Prikazanih je šest možnosti povišanja produktivnosti pri obločnem varjenju s taljivo elektrodo. Opisan je proces varjenja z daljšim prostim koncem žice, proces varjenja z rotirajočim prehajanjem materiala in z daljšim oblokom, varjenje z več elektrodnimi glavami, varjenje z večžično elektrodo, varjenje z dodatnim kovinskim prahom in varjenje z dodatnim hlajenjem oplaščene elektrode pri ročnem varjenju. Pri vseh postopkih se poveča talilni učinek oz. količina pretaljenega dodajnega materiala v časovni enoti. Zajeti so postopki varjenja: varjenje pod praškom, varjenje v zaščitnih plinih in ročno obločno varjenje z oplaščeno elektrodo.
