Language mediation in such contexts often relies on untrained interpreters. Interpreter education and awareness-raising, both among interpreters and users of interpreters, are thus important steps towards quality assurance and professionalization. This contribution presents findings from a multi-step user study among interpreting students and novice practitioners. The participants evaluated the usefulness of digital training resources developed in the Erasmus+ project ReTrans (Working with Interpreters in Refugee Transit Zones). Semi-structured interviews provided valuable insight into the strengths and weaknesses of these resources, particularly regarding key aspects such as confidence-building, the balance between theoretical content and practical applicability, and overall usefulness</dc:description><dc:description xml:lang="sl">Povečanje migracij v Evropo v zadnjem desetletju je spodbudilo povpraševanje po tolmačenju na področju sprejema in javnih ustanov. Jezikovno posredovanje v takih kontekstih pogosto zahteva uporabo neusposobljenih tolmačev. Na podlagi polstrukturiranih intervjujev smo pridobili dragocene vpoglede v prednosti in slabosti gradiv, zlasti v zvezi s ključnimi vidiki, kot so krepitev samozavesti, ravnovesje med teoretičnimi in praktično naravnanimi vsebinami ter splošna uporabnost</dc:description><edm:type>TEXT</edm:type><dc:type xml:lang="sl">znanstveno časopisje</dc:type><dc:type xml:lang="en">journals</dc:type><dc:type rdf:resource="http://www.wikidata.org/entity/Q361785" /></edm:ProvidedCHO><ore:Aggregation rdf:about="http://www.dlib.si/?URN=URN:NBN:SI:doc-UGACH87T"><edm:aggregatedCHO rdf:resource="URN:NBN:SI:doc-UGACH87T" /><edm:isShownBy rdf:resource="http://www.dlib.si/stream/URN:NBN:SI:doc-UGACH87T/fb8893a7-046a-4c4a-96a7-19a07107036e/PDF" /><edm:rights rdf:resource="http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/4.0/" /><edm:provider>Slovenian National E-content Aggregator</edm:provider><edm:intermediateProvider xml:lang="en">National and University Library of Slovenia</edm:intermediateProvider><edm:dataProvider xml:lang="sl">Univerza v Ljubljani, Filozofska fakulteta</edm:dataProvider><edm:object rdf:resource="http://www.dlib.si/streamdb/URN:NBN:SI:doc-UGACH87T/maxi/edm" /><edm:isShownAt rdf:resource="http://www.dlib.si/details/URN:NBN:SI:doc-UGACH87T" /></ore:Aggregation></rdf:RDF>
