The world trend shows an increase of 0.15 to 0.2 °C per decade, whereby Europe is warming up twice as fast as the world average. The intensive monitoring by the Slovenian Forestry Institute running for 20 years disclosed that the mean air temperature has increased at all 10 measuring stations. The highest increase was detected at the stations Fondek (2.05 °C) and Borovec (1.88 °C), and the lowest at Murska šuma (0.32 °C) and Gropajski bori (0.55 °C). Regarding the precipitation, we noticed increasingly frequent daily extremes. We also recorded a lower amount of precipitation in the spring and early summer months and an increased amount of precipitation in the autumn. Despite 20 years being relatively short for long-term trends, further monitoring is of utmost importance. Thus, we will be able to have a better understanding of the way temperatures, precipitation, and other weather patterns will change"},{"@xml:lang":"sl","#text":"Podnebne spremembe spadajo med največje izzive zdajšnjega časa s temperaturami zraka, ki se v zadnjih letih pospešeno višajo. Svetovni trend kaže višanje za 0,15 do 0,2 °C v desetletju, pri čemer se Evropa segreva dvakrat hitreje od svetovnega povprečja. Intenziven monitoring Gozdarskega inštituta Slovenije, ki poteka že dvajset let, je razkril, da se je povprečna temperatura zraka zvišala na vseh desetih merilnih postajah. Največje višanje smo zaznali na postajah Fondek (2,05 °C) in Borovec (1,88 °C), najmanjše pa pri Murski šumi (0,32 °C) in Gropajskih borih (0,55 °C). Glede padavin smo opazili vse pogostejše dnevne ekstreme. Zabeležili smo tudi manjšo količino padavin v spomladanskih in začetnih poletnih mesecih ter povečano v jesenskem obdobju. Čeprav je obdobje dvajsetih let razmeroma kratko za dolgoročne trende, je nadaljnji monitoring izjemno pomemben.
