It interprets both works and compares Medea and Katarina, between whom a number of parallels and differences can be found. The key finding is that, in their completely opposite life reactions (action vs. inactivity, making decisions vs. not making decisions, responsibility vs. irresponsibility), Medea and Katarina find themselves as women in a world that does not belong to them. Namen teksta je interpretacija obeh del ter primerjava Medeje in Katarine, med katerima obstajajo številne vzporednice, pa tudi razlike.
