If parents and the coach know their roles in this relationship, the child's pathway to success will be shorter, friendlier and more reliable. Coaches and parents should regularly communicate with each other and collaborate with other professionals, like psychologists, nutritionists and pediatricians, in order to keep the emotional and physical integrity of a young athlete. It is crucial children grow a positive attitude towards sport, and to accept sport as a way of living"},{"@xml:lang":"sl","#text":"Čustvena in telesna izčrpanost sta ena izmed vzrokov, zaradi katerih otroci pogosto zgodaj končajo svojo športno kariero. Članek izpostavlja pomembnost trikotnika \"otrok-starši-trener\", v okviru katerega ima vsak svoje pravice in dolžnosti. Če starši in trener natančno poznajo svojo vlogo, bo pot do otrokovega uspeha nedvomno krajša, bolj prijazna in zanesljiva. Trenerji in starši bi morali redno komunicirati med seboj in sodelovati tudi z drugimi strokovnjaki s področij psihologije, prehrane in pediatrije ter s tem ohraniti čustveno in telesno stabilnost mladega športnika.
