There were three activites of the main economic importance in the past executed in this area: ironworks, mountain pasturing and forestry. Nowadays the human´s influence is much more variegated. V preteklosti so bile na tem območju gospodarsko pomembne tri dejavnosti: fužinarstvo, planšarstvo in gozdarstvo. Današnji človekov vpliv je bolj raznolik. Njegovo bivanje v osrednjem delu parka je pretežno sezonsko, povezano s turizmom in rekreacijo ter počitnikovanjem.
