At the end of the World War Two in May 1945 275 Slovenian priests leaved the country because they feared the Communist terror. Many priests were arrested and sentenced to long-term imprisonment with forced labour, some were even sentenced to death. Catholic Church lost a lot of property because of agrarian reform, denationalization and confiscation as a result of trial sentences. Religious instructions at schools were obstructed. Hard pressure was imposed on theological seminarists from the very beginning. Church schools were shut and nuns working in hospitals and nursing homes, old people's homes etc. were fired although there was no compensation for them"},{"@xml:lang":"sl","#text":"Prispevek obravnava preganjanje katoliške Cerkve v letu 1945 v Sloveniji. Iz strahu pred komunističnim nasiljem je ob koncu druge svetovne vojne maja 1945 Slovenijo zapustilo 275 duhovnikov. Številni duhovniki so bili aretirani in obsojeni na visoke zaporne kazni s prisilnim delom, nekateri tudi na smrtno kazen. Cerkev je zaradi agrarne reforme, denacionalizacije in zaplemb po obsodilnih sodbah izgubila veliko premoženja. Oblast je vedno bolj onemogočala tudi poučevanje verouka. Močan pritisk na bogoslovce se je začel že leta 1945.
