New borderlines concerning the redistribution of costs, work and responsibilities for care between the family, the state, the market and the community are being negotiated by introducing new modes of financing, contributions, allowances and conditions for rights to be cared for and to care for. Within the framework of the feminist reflection on welfare system developments in the EU and on the grounds of an analysis of care policies in Slovenia, the author develops the thesis that care for children and elderly follows a different modernisation logic and creates a different scope and manner of public social care. She argues that, while in Slovenia care for children is public, universal and defamilialistic, care for the elderly follows the principles of privatisation, residualism and refamilisation</dc:description><dc:description xml:lang="sl">Družbeni sistemi skrbi za otroke in starejše, ki predstavljajo pomemben element sistemov blaginje ter dejavnik enakosti, vključno s položajem žensk v družbi, doživljajo v zadnjih desetletjih transformacije zaradi spremenjenih demografskih, družbenih in ekonomskih razmer. Ugotavlja, da medtem ko je skrb za otroke javna, univerzalna in defamilizirana, skrb za starejše sledi načelom privatizacije, rezidualnosti in refamilizacije</dc:description><edm:type>TEXT</edm:type><dc:type xml:lang="sl">znanstveno časopisje</dc:type><dc:type xml:lang="en">journals</dc:type><dc:type rdf:resource="http://www.wikidata.org/entity/Q361785" /></edm:ProvidedCHO><ore:Aggregation rdf:about="http://www.dlib.si/?URN=URN:NBN:SI:doc-TZT3DQOA"><edm:aggregatedCHO rdf:resource="URN:NBN:SI:doc-TZT3DQOA" /><edm:isShownBy rdf:resource="http://www.dlib.si/stream/URN:NBN:SI:doc-TZT3DQOA/54a45c82-ce26-467e-a6c5-913b337ec8ea/PDF" /><edm:rights rdf:resource="http://rightsstatements.org/vocab/InC/1.0/" /><edm:provider>Slovenian National E-content Aggregator</edm:provider><edm:intermediateProvider xml:lang="en">National and University Library of Slovenia</edm:intermediateProvider><edm:dataProvider xml:lang="sl">Univerza v Ljubljani, Fakulteta za družbene vede</edm:dataProvider><edm:object rdf:resource="http://www.dlib.si/streamdb/URN:NBN:SI:doc-TZT3DQOA/maxi/edm" /><edm:isShownAt rdf:resource="http://www.dlib.si/details/URN:NBN:SI:doc-TZT3DQOA" /></ore:Aggregation></rdf:RDF>
