However, thisresearch primarily concerned the cooperation between the counseling service and the headteacher.Within the counseling service, we focused on the pedagogues profile and identified the common tasksshared by the pedagogue and the headteacher, as outlined in the program guidelines for the primaryschool counseling service. At the same time, in a qualitative study including interviews with threeheadteachers and three pedagogues, we explored the areas in which there appeared to be a need to supplementthe program guidelines. We concluded that it would be necessary to add cooperation betweenthe pedagogue and the headteacher in the following areas: enrolment in the school, participation ofpupils with special needs, learning problems, foreign nationals and immigrants, and the implementationand evaluation of the schools education plan. At the system level, we propose organizing in-servicetraining that is designed to complement the counselors knowledge of his or her profile. This in-servicetraining would mostly be useful in schools that employ only one counselor, so that he or she can adoptan interdisciplinary approach to complementing his or her knowledge"},{"@xml:lang":"sl","#text":"V slovenskem šolskem sistemu ima svetovalna služba posebno mesto in odgovornost znotraj sodelovanja z učenci, učitelji, ravnateljem, starši in drugimi. V prispevku nas je zanimalo, kakšno je sodelovanje med ravnateljem in svetovalno službo. Med profili svetovalne službe smo izpostavili profil pedagoga in ugotavljali, pri katerih nalogah, ki so opredeljene v Programskih smernicah za svetovalno službo v osnovni šoli, pedagog in ravnatelj sodelujeta. Hkrati smo v kvalitativni raziskavi, ki je vključevala tri intervjuje z ravnatelji in pedagogi, raziskovali, na katerih področjih se kaže, da bi bilo treba programske smernice dopolniti. Ugotovili smo, da bi bilo treba pri sodelovanju pedagoga z ravnateljem dodati npr. področje vpisa v šolo, razširiti obseg sodelovanja pri učencih s posebnimi potrebami, učno neuspešnih, tujcih in priseljencih ter izpostaviti oblikovanje, izvajanje in evalvacijo uresničevanja vzgojnega načrta šole. Na sistemski ravni bi morali premisliti o izpopolnjevanjih, ki bi bila oblikovana tako, da bi svetovalnemu delavcu komplementarno doprinesla tiste vsebine, ki jih je v času študija glede na svojo smer izobrazbe najmanj spoznal.
