Their main aim is to enhance recognizability of forestry and its activities. However, in the last five years the field of forest pedagogics expands to other professional disciplines, e.g. pedagogics, sociology, psychology, medicine and some other natural science disciplines. We can say that the term has already been well established. In Slovenia, foresters, teachers, educatorsand pedagogues have thus begun to form 'Slovenian forest pedagogics',which is based on the pedagogic concept of open learning environment. The Network of Forest Preschools and Schools was created. Such cooperational form of forest pedagogics represents a positive and original enrichment of the curriculum and the most important task in the future is to connect everybody dealing with the field of forest pedagogics</dc:description><dc:description xml:lang="sl">Dejavnosti s področja gozdne pedagogike v Sloveniji potekajo že kar nekaj desetletij in so predvsem v domeni gozdarske stroke. Njihov namen je predvsem prepoznavnost gozdarske stroke in njenega delovanja. Kljub temu pa se v zadnjih petih letih področje gozdne pedagogike širi tudi na druge strokovne discipline, kot so pedagogika, sociologija, psihologija, medicina in tudi na nekatere druge naravoslovne discipline. Lahko rečemo, da se je termin že dodobra uveljavil. V Sloveniji smo tako začeli gozdarji skupaj z učitelji, vzgojitelji in pedagogi ustvarjati Žslovensko gozdno pedagogikoŽ, ki temelji na pedagoškem konceptu odprtega učnega okolja. Tako sodelovanje je pokazalo že prve pozitivne rezultate. Nastala je Mreža gozdnih vrtcev in šol.
