The number of employees in forest companies has not change considerably and there is still an enormous gap between the current and potential felling, above all in private forests. The country has not introduced any systematical measures for improving the situation at least in the long term (measures of tax policy). To the contrary, it could happen that the share of subventions in forestry will additionally decrease. On the other hand, the increase of concession fee for about 30% is not a suitable measure by the state in the time of the highest economic crisis after the Second World War"},{"@xml:lang":"sl","#text":"Splošna ocena je, da se v letu 2009 krvna slika slovenskega gospodarstva ni bistveno izboljšala. Lahko nas skrbijo resni padci Slovenije na različnih lestvicah konkurenčnosti. Slovensko gozdarstvo je delilo usodo slovenskega gospodarstva, nekateri kazalci in kazalniki pa so bili celo pod povprečjem (npr. DV/zap.). Število zaposlenih in gozdarskih družb se ni bistveno spremenilo, še naprej pa ostaja velik prepad med dejanskim in mogočim posekom zlasti v zasebnih gozdovih. Država ni uvedla nobenih sistemskih ukrepov, da bise stanje izboljšalo vsaj na daljši rok (npr. ukrepi davčne politike). Prav nasprotno, slišati je, da se bo v gozdarstvu delež subvencij še zmanjševal. Tudi povečanje koncesnine za okroglih 30 % ni ravno ustrezen ukrep države v času največje gospodarske krize po drugi vojni. Za gozdarstvom caplja še bolj obubožana lesna industrija, kjer se še naprej vrstijo stečaji in zmanjšuje število zaposlenih. Res pa je, da za bedno stanje v obeh panogah nista krivi samo kriza in država, temveč tudi ljudje, ki jih vodijo in oblikujejo.
