This can be explained as a manifestation of a recurring pattern in identity politics, typical of smaller Slavic nations of Central and South-Eastern Europe. In this sense, the case of Slovenia demonstrates the utility of social constructivism in international relations theory and corroborates the importance of social identities in the formation of intra-state policies and security communities. It also has clear implications for the process of Euro- Atlantic integration in the future, especially as it relates to Slavic candidate countries - unwarranted delays on this path can have unintended consequences</dc:description><dc:description xml:lang="sl">Med novimi članicami EU in NATO je Slovenija znana po svojem "prijateljskem pragmatizmu" v odnosih z Rusijo. To lahko razlagamo kot odraz ponavljajočega se vzorca v identitetni politiki, ki je tipičen za manjše slovanske narode Srednje in Jugovzhodne Evrope. V tem smislu primer Slovenije priča o uporabnosti družbenega konstruktivizma v teoriji mednarodnih odnosov in potrjuje pomen družbenih identitet v formiranju meddržavnih politik in varnostnih skupnosti. Prav tako ima jasne implikacije za proces evroatlantskih integracij v prihodnje, še posebej glede slovanskih držav kandidatk; neumestne zamude na tej poti imajo lahko nenamerne posledice</dc:description><edm:type>TEXT</edm:type><dc:type xml:lang="sl">znanstveno časopisje</dc:type><dc:type xml:lang="en">journals</dc:type><dc:type rdf:resource="http://www.wikidata.org/entity/Q361785" /></edm:ProvidedCHO><ore:Aggregation rdf:about="http://www.dlib.si/?URN=URN:NBN:SI:doc-TRMOW2IL"><edm:aggregatedCHO rdf:resource="URN:NBN:SI:doc-TRMOW2IL" /><edm:isShownBy rdf:resource="http://www.dlib.si/stream/URN:NBN:SI:doc-TRMOW2IL/93413394-cd9a-4294-88be-9a4690f5ca43/PDF" /><edm:rights rdf:resource="http://rightsstatements.org/vocab/InC/1.0/" /><edm:provider>Slovenian National E-content Aggregator</edm:provider><edm:intermediateProvider xml:lang="en">National and University Library of Slovenia</edm:intermediateProvider><edm:dataProvider xml:lang="sl">Univerza v Ljubljani, Fakulteta za družbene vede</edm:dataProvider><edm:object rdf:resource="http://www.dlib.si/streamdb/URN:NBN:SI:doc-TRMOW2IL/maxi/edm" /><edm:isShownAt rdf:resource="http://www.dlib.si/details/URN:NBN:SI:doc-TRMOW2IL" /></ore:Aggregation></rdf:RDF>
