This article presents the concept and the framework, as well as the limitations in researching complex and dynamic social phenomena, such as minorities, inclusion, integration and participation. It stresses the social conditionality (based upon values and ideology) of research, research results, findings and interpretation(s), as well as the problem of funding that does not enable longterm, systematic and holistic research.
