Schollmayer determined an optimal plenter structure of the stands and set it as his management goal. Navodila so zahtevala natančno ugotavljanje lesne zaloge (polna premerba) in prirastka (vrtanje) ter podrobno spremljavo gospodarjenja z gozdovi. Schollmayer je v gozdu poiskal optimalno prebiralno zgradbo sestoja in si ga postavil kot cilj gospodarjenja.
