We aimed at testing the feasibility of conducting research activities in community pharmacies with engagement of students, which would also add value for students in terms of developing competences within the practical training competence framework. Most (75%) of the students involved rated their experience of participating in the research activities as positive. 91% reported that research activity contributed to the development of their personal / professional competencies, with special emphasis on communication skills and self-management, and 50% reported about major contribution on developing competencies related to patient care, especially acquiring more comprehensive pharmacotherapy knowledge and performing patient-centred activities. As a negative experience, they reported about certain challenges related to patient recruitment and data collection, and coordinating research activities and routine work at the pharmacy</dc:description><dc:description xml:lang="sl">V študijskem letu 2018/2019 smo v okviru praktičnega usposabljanja v učnih centrih v raziskovalno dejavnost pilotno vključili 12 študentov. Preverjali smo možnosti izvajanja raziskovalne dejavnosti v lekarniškem okolju s pomočjo študentov, ki bi hkrati pomenila dodano vrednost za študente v smislu razvoja kompetenc v okviru kompetenčnega modela praktičnega usposabljanja. Večina vključenih študentov (75 %) je svojo izkušnjo sodelovanja v raziskavi ocenila kot pozitivno. 91 % jih je poročalo, da je raziskovalna aktivnost prispevala k razvoju njihovih osebnostn-profesionalnih kompetenc, pri čemer so posebej izpostavljali komunikacijske veščine in upravljanje samega sebe, 50 % pa je ocenilo velik prispevek raziskave k razvoju kompetenc, vezanih na oskrbo pacienta, s poudarkom na bolj celostnem pridobivanje znanj farmakoterapije ter izvajanju k bolniku usmerjenih aktivnosti.
