The authors conduct a first in-depth analysis of the regulation of such systems. They re-search the regulation at both the European Union level, including the practice of the Court of European Union, and domestic regulatory and nomotehnical solutions. They perform a short comparative overview of different national approaches to closed systems, both within and outside of the European Union.
