The paper also includes the examination of e-books offer within libraries, with emphasis on execution of Biblos project. Based on the this examination the author points out the most important questions, which are being asked by public libraries in the process of choosing the most optimal business model for e-books offer. It has also been found out that e-books often become part of library offer mainly in English-speaking countries due to the specifics of the global e-books market, the impact of web giants Amazon, Apple and Google, as well as the U.S. distribution platform OverDrive. On the other hand it is more difficult to introduce e-books in libraries in other countries, especially e-books written in national languages"},{"@xml:lang":"sl","#text":"S prispevkom želimo osvetliti problematiko vključevanja elektronskih knjig (e-knjig) v ponudbo slovenskih, predvsem splošnih knjižnic, z vpeljevanjem novih poslovnih modelov trženja e-knjig v slovenskem jeziku pa tudi v šolskih. Vključen je pregled ponudbe e-knjig s poudarkom na izvajanju projekta Biblos. Na podlagi pregleda stanja smo izpostavili najpomembnejša vprašanja, ki si jih pri izbiri ustreznega poslovnega modela za ponudbo e-knjig trenutno zastavljajo splošne knjižnice.
