The research is based on a sample of 149 georeferenced locations displaying pole stand damage and 384 locations displaying no damage as well as on GIS data layers of 17 environmental variables. Logistic regression suggests the pole stand damage to be conditioned by the values of six environmental factors. The analyses show that the stand damage is larger in the area with a lesser share of agricultural land, in forests with a lesser share of large diameter trees, in stands with a larger share of spruce, lesser share of poorly designed stands, lesser distance from feeding sites, and in the areas with a larger density of red deer harvesting"},{"@xml:lang":"sl","#text":"V raziskavi smo proučili, kateri okoljski dejavniki ključno vplivajo na poškodovanost drogovnjakov zaradi navadnega jelena (Cervus elaphus L.) na območju visokokraške planote Jelovice z obrobjem v Sloveniji. Raziskava temelji na vzorcu 149 georeferenciranih lokacij s poškodbami in 384 lokacijami brez poškodb drogovnjakov ter GIS-podatkovnih plasteh 17 okoljskih spremenljivk. Logistična regresija napoveduje, da je poškodovanost drogovnjakov pogojena z vrednostmi šestih okoljskih dejavnikov.
