Four hundred forty employees from different organizations in Slovenia participated in research. On the opportunities dimension the results showed differences between organizations, between educational levels, and between leadership functions. The gender structure of co-workers was related to the score on the prevalence dimension. Some gender differences were found on both dimensions. The paper extends knowledge about friendship at working place and in organizations; in addition it confirms previous findings. Paper shows humans as social beings, who are motivated for formation of friendly bonds. At workplace, these bonds can contribute to better work accomplishments, more homogeneity in working groups, more affiliation to organization, and better identification with organizational goals, strategy and mission"},{"@xml:lang":"sl","#text":"V spletni raziskavi smo uporabili Lestvico prijateljstva na delovnem mestu (Workplace Friendship Scale), ki meri dve dimenziji prijateljstva, in sicer priložnosti in razširjenost. V raziskavi je sodelovalo 440 uslužbencev iz različnih organizacij v Sloveniji. Rezultati so pokazali, da obstajajo razlike med organizacijami, po izobrazbi in po vodstveni nalogi pri dimenziji priložnosti, ter razlike med spolno strukturo sodelavcev pri dimenziji razširjenost. Razlike med spoloma so se pokazale pri obeh dimenzijah. Prispevek razširja spoznanja o prijateljstvu na delovnem mestu in v organizacijah, hkrati pa potrjuje že znane, predvsem tuje raziskave. Raziskava prispeva k razumevanju človeka kot družabnega bitja, ki je motiviran za vzpostavljanje prijateljskih vezi.
