Both of them lived in the shadow of two great poets of 20th century Spanish literature, who in the plays become absent but latent co-protagonists. The analysis – studying the theoretical writings, interviews and talks given by Conejero himself – on the one hand focuses on the encounter and the poetry, key elements in the work of the playwright from Jaén, and on the other hand, on the details of the dramaturgy of absence, a technique that the author utilizes in both playsV članku analiziramo drami španskega avtorja Alberta Conejera (La piedra oscura, Los días de la nieve), katerih branje nam prikliče dramsko in sočasno poetično predstavo dveh pozabljenih osebnosti 20. stoletja: Rafaela Rodrígu-eza Rapuna, tajnika potujoče gledališke skupine La Barraca in zadnjo veliko ljubezen Federica Garcíe Lorce, ter Josefino Manreso, vdovo pesnika Miguela Hernándeza. Moški in ženska, ki sta živela v senci dveh velikih pesnikov španske književnosti 20. stoletja, ki pa sta v obeh dramah odsotna, a latentna soprotagonista.
