Determining the minimum legal protection of employees should ensure the least possibility for international competition, based on lower standards of protection of workers in individual countries. Under changed conditions due to globalization, the issue becomes more complicated. Is the unchanged regulation on the Conventions and Recommendations of the ILO still suitable today? Should the adoption of international universal norms of the ILO - from what was defined in the past century - be changed or adapted to the XXI century and globalization?"},{"@xml:lang":"sl","#text":"Vse od ustanovitve Mednarodne organizacije dela (MOD) leta 1919 predstavlja normativna dejavnost glavno aktivnost te organizacije. Določanje minimumov delovno pravne zaščite zaposlenih naj bi zagotovilo čim manjšo možnost mednarodne konkurence, temelječe na nižjih standardih zaščite delavcev v posameznih državah. V spremenjenih pogojih zaradi globalizacije pa se zadeva zaplete. Ali nespremenjena (že stoletje veljavna) ureditev glede konvencij in priporočil MOD današnji situaciji še ustreza?
