Technological parameters enable to define the conditions in which the process takes course. The measurements during regular operation are essential to follow simultaneously the technological parameters in order to inspect the used technology, and on higher levels of control the process itself e.g., for a process control. Database which is created, is the basis for determining boundary conditions for model investigations, which are used in optimising the technology in order to obtain suitable qualities of hot rolled strips and in high and stable yield. In order to ensure stable production and a development, also numerous special and periodic measurments are done"},{"@xml:lang":"sl","#text":"Predstavljen je pomen kontrole industrijske aplikacije toplega valjanja trakov na valjalnem stroju Steckel, podprte neposredno z merjenjem operativnih tehnoloških pokazateljev valjanja, posredno pa z modelnimi raziskavami. S tehnološkimi meritvami posnamemo stanje, pri katerem proces poteka. Meritve v redni proizvodnji so nujne za sprotno zajemanje tehnoloških veličin za kontrolo izvajanja tehnologije, na višjih nivojih krmiljenja pa za vodenje procesa, kot npr. za procesno vodenje. Baza podatkov, ki se pri tem oblikuje je osnova za določitev robnih pogojev za modelne raziskave, s katerimi optimiramo tehnologijo s ciljem doseganja ustrezne kakovosti toplovaljanih trakov ter njihovega visokega in stabilnega izkoristka.
