Various forms of peasant resistance, their organization and major leaders, the practice of the Minorites as estate masters and the attitude of the Land Prince authority are depicted. The period dealt with covers the span of 250 years. It begins in the first half of the XV century, when the Land Prince was still forced to share his power with the estates, ending somehow approx. 1700, at a time when the absolutist rule on the part of the Austrian-Habsburg was in full swing. The investigation was founded upon archival material of the Ptuj minorite order and, as to the period after 1615, on the basis of preserved documents in repetitories of the Internal Austrian government"},{"@xml:lang":"sl","#text":"Prispevek obravnava pravni in gospodarski položaj kmečkih podložnikov na območju, ki je pripadalo ptujskemu minoritskemu samostanu. Prikazane so različne oblike kmečkega upora, njegova organizacija in glavni voditelji, praksa minoritov kot zemljiških gospodov in odnos deželnoknežje oblasti. Ta vprašanja so zanimiva že zato, ker gre za cerkveno zemljiško gospostvo beraškega reda, za katerega je bilo prvotno značilno, da je bil brez vsakršnega premoženja. Kmečki upor proti ptujskim minoritom doslej še ni bil temeljito raziskan in postavljen v širši kontekst. Obravnavano obdobje obsega približno 250 let. Začenja se v prvi polovici 15. stoletja, ko je deželni knez svojo oblast še moral deliti s stanovi, zaključuje pa se nekako okrog leta 1700- v času, ko je bila že zdavnaj uveljavljena absolutistična oblast avstrijskih Habsburžanov.
