The purpose of the research was to find the relationship between the inertial load and the produced angular velocity, force, power and angular momentum on the low-row inertial device. 43 older adults participated in the study. Six different inertial loads were selected. They were set by the mass moment of inertia (MMI) of a flywheel. The data was documented by a custom-made inertial device connected to a programme software. It was discovered that by raising the mass moment of inertia, the variables of velocity, force, power and angular momentum significantly differed. Also, the changes were able to be described by using a linear function. By adjusting the MMI, one can consistently control the velocity of the repetitions, force, and power generated on the inertial device, which gives one a base upon for gradually increasing the load, relatively adjusting the intensity, and observing the effects of the inertial device exercises</dc:description><dc:description xml:lang="sl">Inercijska vadba zaradi pozitivnih učinkov ekscentrične vadbe predstavlja nov trend pri vadbi za moč. Ena izmed poglavitnih pomanjkljivosti, s katero se srečujemo pri določanju obremenitve, je relativno prilaganje inercijskega bremena in s tem primerjava med učinki različnih protokolov. Namen raziskave je bil ugotoviti odnos med velikostjo bremena in proizvedeno kotno hitrostjo, silo, močjo in vrtilno količino na inercijski napravi za izvedbo horizontalnega potega. Na 43 starejših odraslih so bile izvedene meritve največje zmožnosti potega pri 6 različnih inercijskih bremenih, ki so bila določena z masnim vztrajnostnim momentom (MVM) kolutaste uteži. Podatki so bili zajeti z lastno skonstruirano inercijsko napravo in programsko opremo. Z analizo variance in regresijsko analizo smo ugotovili, da z višanjem MVM pride do statistično značilnih sprememb v spremenljivkah hitrosti, sile, moči in vrtilne količine ter da spremembe lahko opišemo z linearno funkcijo.
