The first part of the article describes the preconditions for the construction and the implementation of the public tender. It also presents the design solutions and technological challenges during the construction. Besides the construction of the underground garage, the project also included the construction of the square, the new tunnel connection and the renovation of the Tomos skyscraper. To conclude, the construction in the city centre in close proximity to multi-residential buildings was extremely challenging in terms of design, organisation and technologyV članku je predstavljen celovit prikaz izvedbe projektiranja in gradnje podzemne parkirne hiše pod Muzejskim trgom v Kopru. V prvem delu članka so predstavljeni razlogi za gradnjo objekta in način izvedbe javnega razpisa. V nadaljevanju so predstavljene projektne rešitve in opisani tehnološki izzivi med gradnjo. Celotna izvedba investicije je poleg gradnje parkirne hiše obsegala še ureditev trga, nov priključek s predorom in obnovo Tomosove stolpnice.
