In the international literature review we recognized the importance of quality care dimensions of palliative patients. The data was collected with the survey questionnaire and the sample included 181 community nurses, who have answered questionnaire items. The data was statistically analyzed with the relevant quantitative methods. Results have revealed the following seven important dimensions of palliative care: awareness, communication, knowledge, quality of life factors of palliative patients, satisfaction of palliative patients' needs, organization of palliative care and barriers"},{"@xml:lang":"sl","#text":"V prispevku predstavljamo stališča patronažnih medicinskih sester o procesu paliativne oskrbe, ki jo izvajajo na pacientovem domu. Pri pregledu svetovne literature smo prepoznali pomen dimenzij kakovosti oskrbe in življenja paliativnih pacientov. Z anketnim vprašalnikom smo pri 181 patronažnih medicinskih sestrah zbrali in z relevantnimi kvantitativnimi metodami statistično analizirali podatke.
