With flexible employment new forms and practices of employment develop, which decreases unemployment rate, but on the other hand diminishes the quality of employment. Very low on the qualitative scale is the precarious employment as exemplified by shop assistants, employed for a fixed term. Many employment in the services that are mostly done by women (e.g. household assistance) are classified as risky employments.The most important question, in this context is how to preserve or improve quality of employments and enhance the security of labour. Also very important is to identify the forms of employments that assure harmonious economic and social progress. When dealing with integration of flexibility and security of employment, the concept that hold great currency in Europe is flexicurity. It is also mentionned in Slovenian reforms"},{"@xml:lang":"sl","#text":"Znotraj procesa fleksibilizacije trga delovne sile se pojavljajo zaposlitve s povečanimi tveganji in nove oblike revščine kot posledica tega procesa. Fleksibilizacija zaposlovanja prinaša veliko možnosti za razmah novih oblik in praks zaposlovanja in na ta način pomembno vpliva na zmanjševanje brezposelnosti; na žalost pa proces nima ugodnega vpliva na kakovost zaposlitev. Zelo nizko na tej kakovostni lestvici so prekarne zaposlitve, katerih zgled so tudi zaposlitve prodajalk, ki delajo za določen čas. Tudi druge zaposlitve in pomožna dela v storitvah, ki jih večinoma opravljajo ženske (posebej s področja pomoči na domu oziroma gospodinjstvu) in so v Evropi ena najbolj rastočih zaposlitvenih panog, sodijo v kontekst zaposlitev s povečanimi tveganji. Ob vse večji fleksibilizaciji zaposlovanja in prožnejših delovnih odnosih se pojavlja vprašanje, kako ob tem ohraniti ali izboljšati kakovost in povečati varnost zaposlitev, pomembno pa bi bilo tudi ugotoviti, katere so tiste oblike zaposlovanja, ki zagotavljajo usklajen gospodarski in socialni razvoj in napredek družbe.
