First it presents the most important forestry actions and encroachments together with the impacts they are triggering. Next, these forestry encroachments and actions are analyzed from the viewpoint of their effects. The analysis has been made on the basis of both findings from the available literature and rare national researches. The impact analysis has also presented the basis for forming good practices for management of forest habitat types, qualification plants, and animal species such as beetles and birds. Taking into consideration the fact, that momentarily there are not many data available for individual qualification species, the recommendations are general and do not refer exclusively to the species dealt with in this project. Since the effectiveness of nature conservation in addition to knowledge depends on numerous factors, for example work organization of services, cooperation of the profession with other sectors, good procedural practices, etc., in the last part of the article there are also listed some recommendations which will, in the case they are followed, most likely add to a better efficiency and higher quality of work of nature conservation and forestry as a wholePrispevek je posvečen ohranjanju ugodnega ohranitvenega stanja gozdnih habitatnih tipov in habitatov vrst v območjih Natura 2000 in zunaj njih. V njem so najprej predstavljeni najpomembnejši gozdarski ukrepi in posegi skupaj z učinki oz. vplivi, ki jih sprožajo. Gozdarski posegi in ukrepi so v nadaljevanju analizirani z vidika učinkov. Analiza je narejena na osnovi spoznanj, zapisanih v razpoložljivi literaturi, in redkih domačih raziskav. Analiza učinkov je kot podlaga rabila tudi pri oblikovanju dobrih praks za gospodarjenje z gozdnimi habitatnimi tipi, kvalifikacijskimi rastlinskimi vrstami in z živalskimi vrstami, kot so hrošči in ptiči. Glede na to, da v sedanjem trenutku ni na voljo veliko podatkov za posamezne kvalifikacijske vrste, so priporočila splošna in se ne nanašajo izključno na vrste, obravnavane v projektu. Ker je učinkovitost naravovarstva poleg znanja odvisna še od številnih drugih dejavnikov, npr. od organizacije dela služb, sodelovanja stroke z drugimi sektorji, dobrih postopkovnih praks itn., so v zadnjem delu prispevka navedena še nekatera priporočila, ki bodo v primeru upoštevanja najverjetneje pripomogla k učinkovitejšemu in bolj kakovostnemu delu naravovarstva in gozdarstva kot celoteTEXTznanstveno časopisjejournalsSlovenian National E-content AggregatorNational and University Library of SloveniaZveza gozdarskih društev Slovenije
