In the article, the author presents and defines some critical benefits of teleworking for emplozees and employers, and impacts of the increasing number of teleworkers upon regional development. Following the findings of foreign and own research and the results of the research Internet Use in Slovenia, there is an analysis of the current status of teleworking in Slovenia. In the conclusion the author presents some necessary elements of national policy of informatisation, needed for the future development of teleworking in Slovenia"},{"@xml:lang":"sl","#text":"Teledelo s pospešeno informatizacijo dobiva nove oblike in vsebine, kar vplivana povečevanje števila občasnih in stalnih teledelavcev. V prispevku po uvodni predstavitvi problema definiranja teledela poskušamo predstaviti nekatere ključne prednosti in slabosti teledela za zaposlene in delodajalce ter vplive naraščanja števila teledelavcev na časovno-prostorsko organizacijo družbenega delovanja. Pri teh izhajamo iz spoznanj tako primerov in študij teledela v tujini kot tudi iz spoznanj lastnega raziskovalnega dela in rezultatov raziskav Rabe interneta v Sloveniji.
