Despite the small sample and the consequent reservation toward the quality of the data, it data shows that 73 percent of boys and 50 percent of girls (20 percent less than in 2006) take up sport in their leisure time almost every day and that the difference between boys and girls is statistically significant. Statistically significant differences in leisure time sporting activity is evident also accordingly to the parents' level of education. If the physical education lessons in schools are ignored the percentage of inactive boys is 5,4 percent while the percentage of inactive girls is 17,8 percent (which is almost half more than in 2006)"},{"@xml:lang":"sl","#text":"V raziskavo SJM so bili v letu 2008 že tretjič vključeni tudi mladostniki od 15. do 19. leta starosti. čeprav je njihov vzorec zelo skromen in je zaradi tega potrebno ustrezno vrednotiti tudi rezultate analize, podatki kažejo, da je v prostem času vsak dan športno dejavnih 73 odstotkov fantov in 50 odstotkov deklet (20 odstotkov manj kot leta 2006), razlika med enimi in drugimi pa je statistično značilna. Statistično značilna povezanost pogostosti ukvarjanja s prostočasnimi športnimi dejavnostmi se kaže tudi z izobrazbo očeta in matere.
