The aspect of mechanical susceptibility of extended release dosage forms may be an important factor affecting drug release and can often lead to dif- ferences between in vitro profiles and in vivo drug re- lease. The article introduces the innovative methods for dissolution testing of extended release formulations, where the main advantage is especially a better simu- lation of certain in vivo conditions, relevant for the drug dissolution. In vivo behaviour can be more efficiently predicted and the development of successful in vitro in vivo correlation models can be achieved. The article in particular presents the methods, developed by Slovenian scientists. The beads-based dissolution method, the glass bead device and the apparatus for simulating the function of human stomach and intestine are presented</dc:description><dc:description xml:lang="sl">Pri načrtovanju novih farmacevtskih oblik s podaljšanim sproščanjem in razvoju metod za njihovo testiranje je treba upoštevati številne faktorje, med katerimi je eden izmed pomembnejših mehanska občutljivost. Sem uvrščamo napravo, ki povezuje kroglice in metodo z recipročnimi cilindri (USP III), pretočni sistem s kroglicami, ter apa- raturi, ki posnemata gastrointestinalno gibanje</dc:description><edm:type>TEXT</edm:type><dc:type xml:lang="sl">znanstveno časopisje</dc:type><dc:type xml:lang="en">journals</dc:type><dc:type rdf:resource="http://www.wikidata.org/entity/Q361785" /></edm:ProvidedCHO><ore:Aggregation rdf:about="http://www.dlib.si/?URN=URN:NBN:SI:doc-R9LG1RYK"><edm:aggregatedCHO rdf:resource="URN:NBN:SI:doc-R9LG1RYK" /><edm:isShownBy rdf:resource="http://www.dlib.si/stream/URN:NBN:SI:doc-R9LG1RYK/024f7b4d-b7a6-460d-9b76-19909c9ec935/PDF" /><edm:rights rdf:resource="http://rightsstatements.org/vocab/InC/1.0/" /><edm:provider>Slovenian National E-content Aggregator</edm:provider><edm:intermediateProvider xml:lang="en">National and University Library of Slovenia</edm:intermediateProvider><edm:dataProvider xml:lang="sl">Slovensko farmacevtsko društvo</edm:dataProvider><edm:object rdf:resource="http://www.dlib.si/streamdb/URN:NBN:SI:doc-R9LG1RYK/maxi/edm" /><edm:isShownAt rdf:resource="http://www.dlib.si/details/URN:NBN:SI:doc-R9LG1RYK" /></ore:Aggregation></rdf:RDF>
