The goal of this article is to classify low-dimensional Lie algebras, i.e., those of dimensions 1, 2 and 3. First, the Lie algebras in general are introduced, some examples are given and theoretical background for the classification of low-dimensional Lie algebras is prepared. This classification is the main part of the articleTeorija Liejevih algeber je obsežno matematično področje, ki danes igra pomembno vlogo v matematiki in teoretični fiziki. Članek odgovori na vprašanje, katere Liejeve algebre majhnih razsežnosti, torej dimenzij 1, 2 in 3, obstajajo in kako jih klasificirati. Najprej so predstavljene Liejeve algebre na splošno, sledi nekaj primerov ter vse potrebne teoretične osnove za klasifikacijo Liejevih algeber majhnih razsežnosti.
