The interpenetrating phase composite was manufactured by gravity casting at different preheating temperatures of the ceramic foam. The samples were investigated using optical and electron microscopy, energy dispersive X-ray spectroscopy, X-ray diffraction, transmission electron microscopy and compression testing.
