First a short history of neutrno discovery is presented, followed by information about how the experiment works, describing the process of construction and going through the results of the experiment. At the end new experiments that are planned for the future in this field are describedV članku je predstavljen poskus Ice Cube, ki se izvaja na južnem polu in detektira nevtrine, ki na Zemljo prispejo iz vesolja. Najprej so na kratko predstavljeni zgodovina spoznavanja in nekaj splošnih lastnosti nevtrinov, nato pa so opisani princip delovanja, postopek konstrukcije ter pomembnejši izsledki eksperimenta Ice Cube.
