DNA origami technique is able to produce a variety of different shapes by constraining a long single stranded DNA molecule with alarge number of short oligonucleotides. We designed 227 short oligonucleotides in order to scaffold the long strand of M13 bacteriophage single-stranded DNA into the shape of Slovenia. After annealing DNA origamis of Slovenia were observed by atomic force microscopy showing that most of the structures followed the design. Our results demonstrate that DNA origami technique can be used for construction of irregular asymmetric shapes with curvy edges and prove the feasibility of this technique</dc:description><edm:type>TEXT</edm:type><dc:type xml:lang="sl">znanstveno časopisje</dc:type><dc:type xml:lang="en">journals</dc:type><dc:type rdf:resource="http://www.wikidata.org/entity/Q361785" /></edm:ProvidedCHO><ore:Aggregation rdf:about="http://www.dlib.si/?URN=URN:NBN:SI:doc-PQAS1JKO"><edm:aggregatedCHO rdf:resource="URN:NBN:SI:doc-PQAS1JKO" /><edm:isShownBy rdf:resource="http://www.dlib.si/stream/URN:NBN:SI:doc-PQAS1JKO/ffb244c4-011e-4688-be51-5b6f05318399/PDF" /><edm:rights rdf:resource="http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0/" /><edm:provider>Slovenian National E-content Aggregator</edm:provider><edm:intermediateProvider xml:lang="en">National and University Library of Slovenia</edm:intermediateProvider><edm:dataProvider xml:lang="sl">Slovensko kemijsko društvo</edm:dataProvider><edm:object rdf:resource="http://www.dlib.si/streamdb/URN:NBN:SI:doc-PQAS1JKO/maxi/edm" /><edm:isShownAt rdf:resource="http://www.dlib.si/details/URN:NBN:SI:doc-PQAS1JKO" /></ore:Aggregation></rdf:RDF>
