In the second phase, the research focused on examining judges’ evaluation of extremely long jumps exceeding 94% of the distance of the hill size (HS) point. These extreme jump lengths were interval-weighted according to the HS point. The intervals had a range or width of 1% of the value of the HS point. Thus, intervals of jump lengths between –6% and +4% were determined with respect to the HS point. The sample of subjects included ski jumpers competing at the Ski Jumping World Cup in the 2021/2022 season. The study covered 36 competitions and 72 competition series. In total, 2,880 ski jumps were studied. Among these jumps, 515 ski jumps were included in the extreme long jump interval zone, representing 17.8% of all jumps. The correlation between jump lengths and style points was on average high (r = .72). For some competition series, low and statistically insignificant correlation coefficients could also be found. In the zone of increasing extreme long jumps, a trend of decreasing deductions by judges in the flight phase could be observed along with increasing deductions in the landing phase. Jumpers who jumped beyond the HS point had a pronounced negative trend of increasing deductions for the landing score. In a sense, they were ‘punished’ by the judges for landing in unsafe conditions. In reality, they could not even do a nice landing at the extreme lengths of the telemark jumps and the decision to do the landing without a telemark was fully justified"},{"@xml:lang":"sl","#text":"Namen raziskave je bil v prvi fazi ugotoviti velikost korelacijske povezanosti med dolžino skokov in ocenami za slog. V drugi fazi je bila raziskava usmerjena na proučevanje sodniškega ocenjevanja ekstremno dolgih skokov, tj. tistih, ki presegajo 94 % razdalje točke velikosti skakalnice (HS). Ekstremne dolžine skokov so bile intervalno določene glede na HS. Ti intervali so imeli razpon oziroma širino 1 % vrednosti točke velikosti skakalnice. Tako so bili določeni intervalni odseki dolžine skokov med –6 % in +4 % glede na točko velikosti skakalnice HS. V vzorec merjencev so bili zajeti smučarji skakalci, ki so nastopili na svetovnem pokalu v smučarskih skokih v sezoni 2021/2022. V raziskavo je bilo vključenih 36 tekmovanj in 72 tekmovalnih serij, skupno pa 2.880 smučarskih skokov. Med temi je bilo v cono intervalov ekstremno dolgih skokov zajetih 515 ali 17,8 % vseh skokov. Korelacijska povezanost med dolžinami skokov in ocenami za slog je bila v povprečju visoka (r = 0,72). Pri nekaterih tekmovalnih serijah je bilo mogoče ugotoviti tudi nizke in statistično neznačilne koeficiente korelacije. V coni povečevanja ekstremno dolgih skokov je bilo zaznati trend zniževanja sodniških odbitkov v fazi leta in zviševanja sodniških odbitkov v fazi doskoka. Skakalci, ki so skočili čez točko velikosti skakalnice, so imeli izrazit negativni trend zviševanja odbitkov za oceno doskoka. Nekako so bili za svoj doskok, ki so ga opravili v nevarnih razmerah, pri sodnikih »kaznovani«.
