From the aspect of a broader literary sphere, Maja Haderlap's writing about socially and politically marginal narrative represents one of the many new forms of literary interaction going beyond the regional frame by telling the story about minority community. Literary discourse of Slovenians in Austria illustrates numerous intercultural and transnational interactions typical for a multilingual literary sphere that prove nonsense of the idea about mononational, monolingual literary discourse. Using German language in the Carinthian Slovenians' novel means accepting both languages as a part of linguistic and national identity, and represents a way of understanding contemporary social dilemmas - "Who am I, to whom I belong?" - as part of a broader literary sphere where stories about minorities in Europe are written in the majority's language. A context of the authors who like Maja Haderlap identify with the minority and write in the majority's language, is being outlined by inclusion of two characteristic literary works: Kevin Vennemann's Mara Kogoj and Vojnović's Yugoslavia, My Country</dc:description><dc:description xml:lang="sl">V nemškem jeziku napisan roman Engel des Vergessens problematizira dilemo o tem, ali gre "drugi" jezik v primeru zgodbe o življenju slovenske manjšine na od nekdaj napetem stičišču regionalnih in nadregionalnih tradicij, zgodovinskih in modernih, kulturnih in narodnih identitet razumeti kot znak napredujoče asimilacije slovenske manjšine na Koroškem ali je simbol prelamljanja z dotedanjim razumevanjem manjšinske skupnosti v Avstriji kot regionalne in vpetosti literarnega ustvarjanja koroških Slovencev v globalni kontekst pisanja v "drugem" jeziku</dc:description><edm:type>TEXT</edm:type><dc:type xml:lang="sl">znanstveno časopisje</dc:type><dc:type xml:lang="en">journals</dc:type><dc:type rdf:resource="http://www.wikidata.org/entity/Q361785" /></edm:ProvidedCHO><ore:Aggregation rdf:about="http://www.dlib.si/?URN=URN:NBN:SI:doc-PGRBDBPE"><edm:aggregatedCHO rdf:resource="URN:NBN:SI:doc-PGRBDBPE" /><edm:isShownBy rdf:resource="http://www.dlib.si/stream/URN:NBN:SI:doc-PGRBDBPE/a763cbff-4302-4b58-8b02-f8cb8ebeded3/PDF" /><edm:rights rdf:resource="http://rightsstatements.org/vocab/InC/1.0/" /><edm:provider>Slovenian National E-content Aggregator</edm:provider><edm:intermediateProvider xml:lang="en">National and University Library of Slovenia</edm:intermediateProvider><edm:dataProvider xml:lang="sl">Slovensko društvo za primerjalno književnost</edm:dataProvider><edm:object rdf:resource="http://www.dlib.si/streamdb/URN:NBN:SI:doc-PGRBDBPE/maxi/edm" /><edm:isShownAt rdf:resource="http://www.dlib.si/details/URN:NBN:SI:doc-PGRBDBPE" /></ore:Aggregation></rdf:RDF>
