The phenomenon of magnetic unbalance is a result of removing the mass when balancing rotors. As a result the notches on the rotor surface cause the magnetic unbalance. Vibration measurements on balanced and unbalanced electric motors were carried out to confirm the existence of magnetic unbalance. Numerical modelling included two-dimensional (2D) and three-dimensional (3D) elektromagnetic models of an electric motor. Notches were modelled on the surface enabling the estimation of the magnetic forces on the rotor and the magnets. Electric motors with permanent magnets are used to drive the hydraulic pump in the steering mechanism in a car. The results of the research confirm the importance of magnetic unbalance in the vibration of electric motors</dc:description><dc:description xml:lang="sl">V prispevku obravnavamo vpliv magnetnega neuravnoteženja rotorjev na vibracije enosmernega elektromotorja s trajnimi magneti v primerjavi z masnim neuravnoteženjem. Obravnavani problem se pojavi pri uravnoteženju rotorjev z odvzemanjem materiala, pri čemer nastanejo zareze na površini rotorja, ki vplivajo na magnetno neuravnoteženost. Z namenom potrditve vpliva magnetne neuravnoteženosti na vibracije elektromotorja, smo izvedli meritve vibracij, tako na uravnoteženih kakor tudi na neuravnoteženih rotorjih in jih pozneje medsebojno primerjali. Dvorazsežni (2D) in trirazsežni (3D) elektromagnetni model elektromotorja, kjer smo na površini rotorja modelirali določeno število zarez, je omogočil , da smo ovrednotili vpliv zarez na magnetne sile na rotor in na posamezne magnete. Raziskava je bila opravljena na enosmernih elektromotorjih s trajnimi magneti, ki se uporabljajo za pogon hidravlične črpalke na krmilnem mehanizmu v avtomobilu.
