From the point of view of sustainable development, which stresses that today‘s resource management must not jeopardise the next generation‘s needs, it is important to rationally manage both natural and financial resources. As the introduction of circular business models supports the European Community‘s sustainable policies, there are two types of funding available in the EU‘s Multiannual Financial Framework, direct and indirect funding. The paper analyses the indirect way of financing the implementation of circular business models to support the implementation of the circular economy, which Slovenian companies can benefit from within the framework of the Slovenian National Recovery and Resilience Plan. Reforms and a single point for the sustainable and circular transformation of the Slovenian economy were realised on the national level. Their main objective is to reduce CO2 emissions. The analysis has shown that most of the investment projects that are related to the circular economy and green transition are classified as the policy pillar Smart, Sustainable and Inclusive Growth, but not as the policy pillar Green Transition – policy area Circular Economy. It can be concluded that the Slovenian economy still considers circular business models to be innovative projects and that they are not yet part of the general practice that would effectively contribute to achieving the goals of the European Green Deal"},{"@xml:lang":"sl","#text":"Model krožnega gospodarstva je pomemben element za doseganje ciljev trajnostnega razvoja. S stališča trajnostnega razvoja, ki poudarja, da današnje upravljanje z viri ne sme ogroziti naslednje generacije pri uresničevanju njihovih potreb, je pomembno, da se racionalno upravlja tako z naravnimi kot s finančnimi viri. Ker uvajanje krožnih poslovnih modelov podpira trajnostne politike Evropske skupnosti, sta v večletnem finančnem okviru EU na voljo dva načina financiranja, neposredno in posredno financiranje. V prispevku je analiziran posredni način financiranja implementacije krožnih poslovnih modelov v podporo uveljavljanja krožnega gospodarstva, ki ga slovenska podjetja lahko koristijo v okviru Slovenskega nacionalnega načrta za okrevanje in odpornost. Reformni ukrepi in enotna točka za trajnostno in krožno transformacijo slovenskega gospodarstva so na nivoju države že realizirani. Njihov glavni cilj je zmanjšanje emisij CO2. Analiza je pokazala, da je večina investicijskih projektov, ki so vsebinsko povezani s krožnim gospodarstvom in zelenim prehodom, uvrščena v razvojno področje Pametna, trajnostna in vključujoča rast, ne pa v razvojno področje Zeleni prehod – komponenta Krožno gospodarstvo.
