In resolving ethical dilemmas, it is very important to consider developmental characteristics of the child, the active involvement of the child or adolescent in decision-making processes within rehabilitation programs, active involvement of the family, the principles of family-centred care of children and families, the implementation thereof, implementation of social and economic rights, participation in educational programs and the wider social environment. It is also important to be aware of the ethical dilemmas in rehabilitation research"},{"@xml:lang":"sl","#text":"Upoštevajoč vodilna etična načela, kot so avtonomija, verodostojnost (omogočanje obveščenega soglasja), dobrodelnost in neškodljivost, pravičnost (enakopravnost), zasebnost in zaupnost ter vključevanje v terapevtski proces, kakor tudi posebnosti rehabilitacije otrok, kot so epidemiologija, potek rehabilitacije ter tesno sodelovanje z otrokom, družino in okoljem, v prispevku predstavljamo nekatera področja etičnih dilem na področju rehabilitacije otrok. Pri razreševanju etičnih dilem je zelo pomembno, da upoštevamo razvojne značilnosti otroka, aktivno vključevanje otroka oziroma mladostnika v procese odločanja v programih rehabilitacije, aktivno vključevanje družine, principe v družino usmerjene obravnave, vključevanje otrok in družine v terapevtski program, izvajanje le tega, urejanje socialno-materialnih pravic, vključevanje v vzgojno-izobraževalne ustanove in širše socialno okolje.
