Within our work process, we maintain close contact with the users of medical supportive devices, which poses a great challenge during the COVID-19 epidemic. We use digital technology during the production of devices alongside classical measurement methods, which reduces the duration of close contact. The organisation of our services had to be adapted during the COVID-19 epidemic. The paper presents the measures that we had to implement and the influence of the epidemic on our provision of medical supportive devices to the usersV Centru za ortotiko in protetiko URI - Soča diplomirani ortotiki in protetiki izdelujemo medicinske pripomočke (MP), izdelane za posameznega uporabnika, kot so ortoze, proteze za spodnje in zgornje ude ter epiteze. Pri svojem delu smo v posameznih fazah proizvodnega postopka v tesnem stiku z uporabnikom MP, kar predstavlja velik izziv v obdobju epidemije koronavirusa. Pri svojem delu poleg klasičnih metod odvzema mere uporabljamo tudi digitalno tehnologijo, kar skrajša trajanje tesnega stika z uporabnikom. V času izbruha epidemije koronavirusa se je organizacija dela spremenila.
