Because tension and pain perception are subjective sensations, it is difficult to assess whether an individual followed the stretch instructions and how much stretching, relative to the maximum stretch, the individual actually did. The purpose of the study was to determine whether different age groups of men differently perceive the same instruction in stretching exercises. The study involved 16 participants, which were divided into two groups. Eight subjects were in younger group (age 25 +- 2.6 years; size 1.79 +- 0.05 m; weight 71.8 +- 7.3 kg) and eight in the older group (age 36 +- 3.1 years; size 1.78 +- 0.07 m; weight 74.8 +- 8.4 kg). All participants were involved in recreational sports. Seat leaning on the bench exercise was used for the flexibility test, and the hip angle was measured. The participants made two separate days of test measurements in random order. One test day consisted of basic stretch measurements and the other was drastic stretch measurements. The results showed that there was no difference between the age groups in the difference between the angle at baseline and the drastic stretch (younger group M = 7.3; SE = 2.3; older group M = 4.5; SE = 1.6; t (14) = 1.02; p > 0.05). Based on the present research, it can be concluded that the different old groups of man do not differ in their understanding of the instructions for performing the basic stretch during the seat leaning on the bench exercise"},{"@xml:lang":"sl","#text":"Pri vadbi gibljivosti s statično in PNF metodo se uporabljajo tri temeljne velikosti raztega, ki se ločijo glede na to, kakšno napetost in bolečino v mišici povzroči raztezanje. Ker gre pri zaznavanju napetosti in bolečine za subjektivno zaznavanje, je težko oceniti, ali je posameznik upošteval navodila za razteg in kolikšen razteg glede na največji možni razteg je posameznik dejansko naredil. Namen raziskave je bil ugotoviti, ali različni starostni skupini moškega spola različno dojemata enako navodilo pri razteznih vajah. V raziskavi je sodelovalo 16 merjencev, ki so bili razdeljeni v dve skupini. Osem merjencev je bilo v skupini mlajših (starost 25 +- 2,6 let; velikost 1,79 +- 0,05 m; teža 71,8 +- 7,3 kg) in osem v skupini starejših (starost 36 +- 3,1 let; velikost 1,78 +- 0,07 m; teža 74,8 +- 8,4 kg). Vsi merjenci so se rekreativno ukvarjali s športom. Za test gibljivosti je bil uporabljen predklon sede na klopi, izmerjen je bil kot v kolku. Merjenci so v naključnem vrstnem redu naredili dva dneva testnih meritev. En testni dan so predstavljale meritve osnovnega raztega, drugega pa meritve drastičnega raztega. Rezultati so pokazali, da med starostnima skupinama ni prišlo do razlik v razliki med kotom pri osnovnem in drastičnem raztegu (skupina mlajših M = 7,3; SE = 2,3; skupina starejših M = 4,5; SE = 1,6; t(14) = 1,02; p > 0,05).
