Taking into account the frequency of occurrences of the word guerre(s) (war(s)) in the French source texts, the journalistic subcorpus composed of 300 articles from Le Monde diplo-matique and three novels from the literary subcorpus turned out to be interesting for our research. On the basis of the lists of all words used, we manually extracted all the nouns belonging to the military field (3,735 occurrences for 289 different words). Using French and Slovene monolingual dictionaries, the classification per register of language shows a predominance of the standard variety in French, even though certain words are highly specialised. Interestingly, in the main Slovene dictionary several cor-responding items are lablled as non-standard (military, jargon, military jargon, etc.). Moreover, the corpus contains many foreign words or borrowings, whereas elements of other language registers (obsolete, informal, colloquial, modern, politics, old-fash-ioned, etc.) are only used sporadically. There are almost no words labelled as militaryor slang/jargon. The article identifies the wars about which the French FraSloK texts speak, classifies the French lexis used into five categories and, finally, specifies the strategies employed in the translation of military vocabulary into Slovene"},{"@xml:lang":"sl","#text":"Le présent article se propose d'étudier l'usage du vocabulaire militaire dans le corpus parallele français-slovene FraSloK, qui contient des textes publiés entre 1995 et 2009. Partant de la fréquence d'occurrences du mot guerre(s) dans les textes français sources, le sous-corpus journalistique composé de 300 articles du Monde diplomatiqueet 3 romans du sous-corpus littéraire se sont avérés intéressants pour notre recherche. A la base des listes de tous les mots utilisés, nous avons manuellement extrait les noms du domaine militaire (3735 occurrences pour 289 mots différents). Appuyée sur des dictionnaires monolingues français et slovenes, la classification par niveaux de langue témoigne de la prédominance de la langue standard en français bien que certains mots soient tres spécialisés ; il est intéressant de noter que dans le principal dictionnaire slovene, plusieurs traductions (équivalents slovenes de tels mots français) portent un indicateur du registre de langue non standard (militaire, jargon, jargon militaire, etc.). En outre, les textes de notre corpus contiennent un certain nombre de mots d'origine étrangere ou bien d'emprunts, tandis que ceux d'autres registres de langue (ancien, courant, familier, moderne, politique, vieux) ne sont que sporadiques. Les mots portant l'indicateur militaire ou argot sont quasi inexistants. Notre article révele de quelles guerres parlent les textes français du FraSloK, expose le lexique utilisé regroupé dans cinq catégories de variétés du français et identifie les stratégies de traduction vers le slovene employées"},{"@xml:lang":"sl","#text":"Članek preučuje rabo vojaškega besedišča v francosko-slovenskem vzporednem korpusu FraSloK, ki vsebuje besedila, objavljena med 1995 in 2009. Pogostnost pojavitev besede guerre(s) (vojna/-e) v izvirnih francoskih besedilih je pokazala, da so za našo raziskavo zanimivi publicistični podkorpus, ki ga sestavlja 300 člankov iz časnika Le Monde diplomatique, in 3 romani iz literarnega podkorpusa. Na osnovi seznamov vseh uporabljenih besed smo ročno izluščili vse samostalnike z vojaškega področja (3735 pojavitev 289 različnih besed). Razvrstitev glede na jezikovno zvrst, pri čemer smo se oprli na enojezične francoske in slovenske slovarje, kaže na prevlado standardnega jezika v francoščini, čeprav so nekatere besede zelo specifične; zanimivo je, da je v Slovarju slovenskega knjižnega jezika številnim slovenskim prevodnim ustreznicam pripisana ena od oznak za nestandardni jezik (vojaško, žargon, vojaški žargon itn.). Poleg tega korpusna besedila vsebujejo precej tujk oziroma sposojenk, medtem ko so besede drugih zvrsti izjemno redke (nekdaj, knjižno pogovorno, neknjižno pogovorno, sodobno, politično, starinsko/zastarelo). Besed z oznako vojaško ali sleng/latovščina v korpusu tako rekoč ni.
