At the same time, the Habsburg monarchy was still very much alive in its concepts of regulating everyday private, social and economic life. To leto je v marsičem določalo bivanje Slovencev. V primeru Kraljevine Srbov, Hrvatov in Slovencev, ki je predmet analize, je bilo to leto kompleksno zaradi različnih dinamik ter globine in ravni proces. Na eni strani je nastopil prelom, nekdanje države ni bilo več. Hkrati pa je bila habsburška monarhija še kako živa v konceptih regulacije vsakdanjega zasebnega, družbenega in gospodarskega življenja.
