Our aim was to define the meaning of hiking and the possibilities for introducing hiking in family and kindergarten life. We presented the differences between group hiking in a kindergarten and family hiking as well as attempted to answer the questions of when and how to engage in hiking activities with children and how to organise such trips. We focused on children aged three to six; we presented the hiking objectives and contents. A strong emphasis was placed on different motor activities and games which enable the intertwining of hiking and other activities. Each of the games is described, including the purpose of the game and the required aids. At the end, the Zlatorog's Fairy Land in Bohinj is presented, which is perfect for small children. We believe that motor development should be stimulated in the first years of one's life. Therefore, it is not unusual these days to encounter very young hiking enthusiasts even in high mountains"},{"@xml:lang":"sl","#text":"V prispevku smo predstavili pohodništvo za mlajše otroke v okviru družine in vrtca. Želeli smo opredeliti pomen pohodništva ter možnosti delovanja pohodništva v okviru družine in vrtca. Predstavili smo razlike med pohodom s skupino v vrtcu in družino, skušali odgovoriti na vprašanja, kdaj in kako sploh začeti hoditi z otroki na izlet ter kakšna naj bo organizacija izleta. Osredotočili smo se predvsem na otroke, stare od 3 do 6 let; prikazali smo cilje in vsebine na področju pohodništva. Velik poudarek smo namenili različnim gibalnim dejavnostim ter igram, ki omogočajo prepletanje med pohodništvom in drugimi področji dejavnosti. Pri vsaki izmed naštetih iger smo opredelili namen in opis igre ter pripomočke, ki so potrebni za njeno izvedbo. Na koncu pa smo predstavili še Zlatorogovo pravljično deželo v Bohinju, ki je kot nalašč namenjena prav našim najmlajšim. Menimo, da je pri človeku potrebno gibalni razvoj spodbujati predvsem v prvih letih njegovega življenja.
