With proper driving behavior evaluation, informing and educating drivers, operators can save on fuel, on servicing and on other operating expenses. Streaming to active fleet optimization reduces accidents, makes fleet greener and increases the quality of transportation service in the specific segment. Presented paper is a continuation of a paper 1 where we tried to evaluate a driving behavior using MEMS accelerometer signal analysis in time, frequency and power spectral domain. Besides promising results in early stages of testing, an analysis on a larger vehicle fleet with different styles of driving and different terrain configurations showed that we need a different approach.
