By using various teaching methods and approaches, the integration of digital technology can serve as a significant motivational factor in language learning. This paper focuses on the use of innovative teaching approaches that incorporate digital technology in revising and consolidating learning material. The aim is to provide English teachers in the first three grades with ideas on how to conduct revision and consolidation activities in a way that fosters greater pupil engagement and motivation. The research was conducted using a case study. Data was collected through unstructured observations during a lesson. Grade 3 pupils consolidated their knowledge through station-based learning, movement, and the use of interactive screen and tablet applications. Each station offered different tasks, educational games, or applications designed to help pupils revise and consolidate vocabulary, participate in conversations, answer questions, and form sentences independently. The findings showed that all pupils remained actively engaged and motivated throughout the lesson. They followed the instructions, promptly transitioned between stations without additional reminders, successfully completed the tasks, and received immediate feedback or were presented with correct answers at the end of the lesson. The pupils perceived station-based learning with diverse activities not as traditional learning but as play. This approach to revising and consolidating could, in the long term, lead to improved academic performance and, consequently, more active foreign language proficiency</dc:description><dc:description xml:lang="sl">Poučevanje tujih jezikov v prvih razredih osnovne šole mora biti za učence zanimivo in privlačno, da zbudi njihovo radovednost in pripravljenost za sodelovanje pri pouku. Ob uporabi različnih metod in oblik dela lahko velik motivacijski dejavnik pri učenju tujega jezika predstavlja tudi vključevanje digitalne tehnologije. V prispevku se bom osredotočila na predstavitev uporabe inovativnih pristopov poučevanja z vključevanjem digitalne tehnologije pri ponavljanju in utrjevanju snovi. Učiteljem angleščine v prvi triadi želim predstaviti nekaj idej, kako izvesti ponavljanje in utrjevanje pri pouku angleščine na način, da so učenci pri pouku aktivnejši in bolj motivirani za delo. V raziskavi smo uporabili metodo študije primera. Podatke smo pridobili z nestrukturiranim opazovanjem poteka učne ure. Učenci 3. razreda so utrjevali snov z delom po postajah, gibanjem in uporabo interaktivnega zaslona ter aplikacij na tabličnih računalnikih. Na vsaki postaji so učence pričakale različne naloge, didaktične igre ali aplikacije, s katerimi so ponavljali in utrjevali besedišče, sodelovali v pogovoru, odgovarjali na vprašanja in samostojno tvorili povedi. Ugotovili smo, da so bili vsi učenci tekom učne ure ves čas aktivni in motivirani za delo. Upoštevali so navodila za delo, postaje so menjavali na znak in brez dodatnih opozoril, naloge so uspešno reševali in prejeli takojšnjo povratno informacijo ali pa so bili s pravilnimi rešitvami seznanjeni ob koncu ure. Ponavljanja preko dela po postajah z različnimi aktivnostmi niso dojemali kot učenje, ampak kot igro.
