Inorder to achieve this, spruce stands from 9 site units were analysed; on each site unit analyses of five plots measuring 30 x 30 m were carried out. Trees from the stand canopy account for more than 95 % of stand volume and even a slightly higher share of stand value. The collective of 100 thickest trees per hectare represents about 40 % of stand volume or stand value. The percentage of veneer quality is low (3-4 %), while the percentage of first class sawlogs quality is four times higher. A precondition for high value increments on the analysed sites were high growing stocks. The value increments of the stands included in this research has already begun to decreaseNamen raziskave je ugotoviti strukturo lesnih zalog, tekočega volumenskega prirastka, (denarne) vrednosti lesne zaloge in tekoči vrednostni prirastek po različnih socialnih kolektivih v gorskih, enomernih in čistih smrekovih sestojih. Analizirali smo sestoje z 9 rastiščnih enot, pri vsaki s po petimi ploskvami velikosti 30 x 30 m. Nad 95 % volumna in še nekaj večji delež vrednosti odpade na streho sestoja. Kolektiv 100 najdebelejših dreves na hektar zavzema okoli 40% volumna oziroma vrednosti sestoja. Delež furnirske kakovosti je nizek (3-4 %), delež hlodovine žagovcev 1. razreda pa štirikrat višji. Na analiziranih rastiščih so pogoj visokih vrednostnih prirastkov visoke lesne zaloge.
