Non-communicable (chronic) diseases have become the leading causes of death, with several types of cancer ranking among the top causes globally (1). As in humans, and also in veterinary medicine, the landscape of the disease burden is changing. In small animal practice in particular. Cancer is among the most common causes of death for dogs (and cats) in the developed world, even though it is uncommon in wildlife and other domestic animals (2). Dogs get cancer at roughly the same rate as humans, while there is less information about the rate of cancer in cats</dc:description><dc:description xml:lang="sl">V zadnjih desetletjih je zaradi napredka v znanosti o življenju prišlo do pomembnih sprememb v razumevanju in obravnavi zdravstvenih težav pri ljudeh. Pojavnost raka pri psih je primerljiva s tisto pri ljudeh, medtem ko je podatkov o pogostosti raka pri mačkah manj</dc:description><edm:type>TEXT</edm:type><dc:type xml:lang="sl">znanstveno časopisje</dc:type><dc:type xml:lang="en">journals</dc:type><dc:type rdf:resource="http://www.wikidata.org/entity/Q361785" /></edm:ProvidedCHO><ore:Aggregation rdf:about="http://www.dlib.si/?URN=URN:NBN:SI:doc-OB5NHVO5"><edm:aggregatedCHO rdf:resource="URN:NBN:SI:doc-OB5NHVO5" /><edm:isShownBy rdf:resource="http://www.dlib.si/stream/URN:NBN:SI:doc-OB5NHVO5/048176b9-a7ea-42e5-893b-bdbe95b9276d/PDF" /><edm:rights rdf:resource="http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/4.0/" /><edm:provider>Slovenian National E-content Aggregator</edm:provider><edm:intermediateProvider xml:lang="en">National and University Library of Slovenia</edm:intermediateProvider><edm:dataProvider xml:lang="sl">Univerza v Ljubljani, Veterinarska fakulteta</edm:dataProvider><edm:object rdf:resource="http://www.dlib.si/streamdb/URN:NBN:SI:doc-OB5NHVO5/maxi/edm" /><edm:isShownAt rdf:resource="http://www.dlib.si/details/URN:NBN:SI:doc-OB5NHVO5" /></ore:Aggregation></rdf:RDF>
