The aim of the study was to describe th e tasks carried out by psychologists in organizations in the past (55 years long history of the field in Slovenia), and to compare thes e with the tasks that are currently performed. The results were compared with similar studies that had been conducted in Slovenia. The results reveal that the work carried out by psychologists in organizations is currently more diverse, but also more focused on specific forms of work, particularly those related to psychological assessment, counseling, and motivation. Their duties are now more li kely to be conducted in an international environment and involve working directly with employees and leaders. Participants also gave recommendations to psychologists who work or want to work in the field of organizational psychology</dc:description><dc:description xml:lang="sl">Področje psihologije dela in organizacije se, kot vsa znanstvena področja, nenehno razvija, in sicer na podlagi raziskovalnega dela in njegovih rezultatov, zaradi različnih situacijskih dejavnikov ter trendov in potreb, ki prihajajo iz organizacijskega okolja. Namen raziskave je bil primerjati delovne naloge psihologa, zaposlenega na področju dela in organizacije, nekoč in danes. Rezultate smo primerjali s podobnimi že objavljenimi slovenskimi in tujimi raziskavami. Rezultati naše študije kažejo, da je danes delo psihologov v organizacijah bolj raznoliko in bolj usmerjeno k individualnim oblikam dela (npr. psihološko merjenje, svetovanje, motiviranje) kot nekoč. Pogosteje delajo v mednarodnem okolju ter neposredno z zaposlenimi in vodji. Udeleženci so podali tudi priporočila psihologom, ki delajo oziroma želijo delati na področju psihologije dela in organizacije</dc:description><edm:type>TEXT</edm:type><dc:type xml:lang="sl">znanstveno časopisje</dc:type><dc:type xml:lang="en">journals</dc:type><dc:type rdf:resource="http://www.wikidata.org/entity/Q361785" /></edm:ProvidedCHO><ore:Aggregation rdf:about="http://www.dlib.si/?URN=URN:NBN:SI:doc-O9ID7GW6"><edm:aggregatedCHO rdf:resource="URN:NBN:SI:doc-O9ID7GW6" /><edm:isShownBy rdf:resource="http://www.dlib.si/stream/URN:NBN:SI:doc-O9ID7GW6/f86cb1dd-b177-454f-a313-3209dc78a7fa/PDF" /><edm:rights rdf:resource="http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0/" /><edm:provider>Slovenian National E-content Aggregator</edm:provider><edm:intermediateProvider xml:lang="en">National and University Library of Slovenia</edm:intermediateProvider><edm:dataProvider xml:lang="sl">Društvo psihologov Slovenije</edm:dataProvider><edm:object rdf:resource="http://www.dlib.si/streamdb/URN:NBN:SI:doc-O9ID7GW6/maxi/edm" /><edm:isShownAt rdf:resource="http://www.dlib.si/details/URN:NBN:SI:doc-O9ID7GW6" /></ore:Aggregation></rdf:RDF>
